As the fighters continue to throw jabs at one another on social media, it seems we are closer to knowing the exact date for the heavyweight title unification bout.
My fans are tired.
Your fans are tired.
We’re all tired of the talk.
Less talk. More action!@Tyson_Fury.

Eddie Hearn told Sky Sports News this afternoon that :
“Aug. 7, Aug. 14, I think it’s a very bad secret that the fight is happening in Saudi Arabia,”
“It’s the same people we did the deal with for Andy Ruiz; that event was spectacular. As partners, they were fantastic as well.”
The 14th of August is a significant date as the fight will be scheduled to take place a few days after the Summer Olympics would have wrapped up.
The fighters were rumored to have signed a two-fight deal in March, however, the only details missing were securing a venue that would be willing to pay what the promoters are looking for.
This is one to keep an eye on as the process is proving to be slower than molasses.
