According to Boxrec, the premiere boxing record keeper, Floyd Mayweather is the greatest boxer of all time.
Mayweather who has a record of 50-0, is difficult to knock down from the Boxrec list whether you like him or not. Boxrec also provide a points tally alongside a boxer’s record. Mayweather has 2255 points, 622 points ahead of Manny Pacquaio in second place. He is one of the two undefeated boxers on the list, alongside Rocky Marciano.
The 25 man list has 19 Americans and the other boxers are from Cuba, Argentina, Mexico, and the Philippines.

In my humble opinion, a few notable boxers left out include Mike Tyson whose 50-6 record should get him a spot on the list, or Saul Alvarez’s 52-1-2 record. But then again Boxrec has done a good job of hiding their points system on their website and giving more feedback into how they came up with the ranking.
Is Floyd the G.O.A.T?
Well, I’m a huge numbers guy, and I also go on the eye test. I can see myself giving Floyd the title of the G.O.A.T, what sane human being can argue with 50-0. Really!?
